How to Strengthen Your Funding Pitch: Great Ideas Webinar

July 2 | 10:00 am - 11:30 am

If you’re applying for grant funding or innovation support, you may already have a strong idea but turning that into a convincing application or panel pitch can be challenging.

Join us for How to Strengthen Your Funding Pitch on Thursday 2 July 10:00-11:30 when Jerome Iveson, specialist in product design, strategy and fundraising, alongside Phil Sly, Specialist Adviser at UMi, explain how funding panels assess applications and what really matters when decisions are made.

This webinar will explore how to present your innovation clearly, demonstrate market need, build a strong and realistic project plan and justify your funding request, helping you approach both written applications and panel questions with confidence.

This session will show you how to:

  • assess how funding panels review and evaluate applications
  • understand the key criteria used to judge applications
  • clearly describe your innovation and what makes it valuable
  • evidence market need and opportunity
  • present realistic project plans, budgets and outcomes
  • avoid common mistakes that weaken otherwise strong applications

Everything is explained in plain English, with practical guidance to help you strengthen your application and improve your chances of success.

Who it’s for

Businesses and individuals preparing funding or grant applications who want a clearer understanding of how assessors and panels review submissions. This webinar is ideal if you want to improve how you explain your idea, demonstrate demand, present your project plan and prepare for panel questions, whether you’re applying now or planning to apply soon.
