Employer Support Programme: Meet the Delivery Partners | Your Small Business Board, Pro-Development & Autism Plus

Following a successful first year, the Employer Support Programme is returning to support businesses across York and North Yorkshire to build stronger, more inclusive workplaces.

Delivered by York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority, this fully funded programme is designed to help employers create good quality job opportunities and tackle economic inactivity. It supports organisations to build the confidence and capability needed to recruit, support and retain a diverse workforce – including people facing barriers to work such as long-term health conditions, caring responsibilities, disabilities and neurodivergence.

Through the programme, businesses can access practical, tailored support to:

• Create inclusive, healthy workplace environments
• Strengthen recruitment, onboarding and retention approaches
• Support employee wellbeing and progression
• Develop confident, inclusive leaders and managers

Support is delivered by a network of experienced delivery partners working with employers across York and North Yorkshire.

• Autism Plus – Empowering Employers Specialist support to help employers recruit, support and retain neurodivergent employees, including training, workplace assessments and tailored advice and guidance.
