At the heart of our pre-start support is Faye Greer Pickup, our Help Desk Manager and Pre-Start Specialist. Faye works closely with individuals to provide personalised guidance for those exploring self-employment, and entrepreneurs starting their own businesses.
Faye provides practical support to those at the start of their journey and is on hand to answer questions for those still finding their feet. From proofreading documents, breaking down complex terminology, and answering questions, to providing honest and structured feedback. Helping neurodivergent entrepreneurs and professionals navigate their journey with confidence.
This personalised approach ensures that individuals receive the support they need in a way that works them, opening doors to opportunities and success.
Faye explains; “Being neurodiverse myself, I understand some of the barriers that neurodiverse entrepreneurs face and it has been a real privilege to use this experience to help make self-employment a more accessible option for neurodiverse people within the region.”
