22 Sep 2023
The Growth Hub are launching a new fully-funded Peer-to-Peer programme for businesses located in the North Yorkshire Council region which will begin from September 2023, including a cohort facilitated by Pro-Development.
Please note: this programme is now fully subscribed and is no longer taking registrations. If you are interested in Peer-to-peer programmes, please complete the form on this page and we will be in touch about available programmes.
Are you ready to find a group of people you can share ideas with, learn from and debate the best way forward for your business? If so, then a peer group might be for you.
Peer-to-Peer support is not simply networking with peers but rather a structured, trusted intervention with a small cohort of businesses with similar growth trajectories where issues, challenges, concerns, opportunities – and even financials – are shared, ideas exchanged, and guidance sought from a trusted group. It can be lonely leading a business. You don’t always have someone to bounce ideas off and debate a new path forward. Or share the excitement of a hard-fought win.
Peer support is proven to enhance a business leader’s confidence more than 33%, and Pro-Development have been running action learning and peer groups for business leaders and directors interested in really learning and growing in a group setting. Their expert facilitators give you the flexibility to create a trusted support network that works for you, helping you to build and strengthen your business and improve its overall performance.
How will my business benefit?
Peer groups enable you to make connections that go far beyond networking. By joining a peer group you will:
- Find a safe and supportive environment to explore and overcome challenges and recognise and act on new opportunities
- Build a trusted network of connections to support you now and in the future
- Have time to focus on business growth and strategy rather than just operational day to day and improve your long-term personal and business performance
- Focus on people and team aspects of the business to improve engagement and increase productivity and explore leadership skills needed to improve retention
