We will also be providing funded 1:1 follow-up sessions with Jo which will be offered to attendees to provide bespoke support on the subjects covered during the webinar sessions.
About the session
Evaluating projects leads to better decision making and control. So how do you go about doing it?
Projects can be anything from taking on a new person, or launching a new product, to building a manufacturing site, or acquiring a business to merge with the current one. How you evaluate each project can vary depending on size and complexity. But undertaking the exercise leads to better decision making and control.
Before making a decision to do something different or take on a liability, you should be analysing the impact on the business. Cash flow, resources required, opportunities and risks. Only once you have collated all the data, can you make a decision with your eyes wide open.
Then once the project is underway, you can compare the reality of it to the plan, leading to improved understanding and early warnings of deviations.
Project evaluation is a big part of planning, and planning leads to early detection of issues, so that problems can be solved with the best outcome for the business and opportunities can be maximised.
