Below you will find a quick optional survey of five simple questions which we ask as part of a duty under the Equalities Act 2010.

Growth Hub Diversity Monitoring

The following questions on protected information characteristics are collected to assist with the development of Growth Hub policy and to enable the Department for Business & Trade to meet their legal duty under Section 149 of the Equalities Act 2010 in order to:

· Eliminate unlawful discrimination, harassment, victimisation, and any other conduct prohibited by the Act.

· Advance equality of opportunity between people who share a particular protected characteristic and people who do not share it.

· Foster good relations between people who share a particular protected characteristic and people who do not share it.

The information collected is anonymous, non-mandatory, will not be retained beyond the end of the current financial year, and has no impact on the services we offer to you as a business.

The basic idea is: We provide some supper, charge a small entry fee, then invite local community projects to pitch for the proceeds raised through the fee, and hold a vote to select the winner - It's that simple! It’s a simple way to do some good.
