One of the key focuses of the Strategy is enhancing our environment – restoring, preserving, and harnessing the power of nature to improve biodiversity, capture carbon, and support climate resilience.
Our region has abundant land and natural capital assets, with over 50% of York and North Yorkshire covered by our two national parks (Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors) and three national landscapes (Howardian Hills, Nidderdale, and Forest of Bowland).
The webinar will explore how we can drive our journey to a sustainable future through supporting and investing in nature.
