Push your online training to it’s limits to excite and engage your audiences.

Are you finding it challenging moving from in-person workshops to delivering your training online?

Too often amazing in-person speakers/trainers/facilitators find themselves banished to a tiny box in the corner of the screen struggling to connect and engage with their digital audience. Their great stories, example and anecdotes feel like dull monologues without the energy of the real life room.

In this interactive training session we’ll look at different ways to break out of the box and level up our live training.

About the Speaker

Richard leads workshop development for Enterprise CUBE CIC and has been finding new ways to deliver online workshops since 2013. Since the pandemic, there’s been an explosion in audiences and the available technology. This workshop is being run in response to the number of people that come to Richard’s workshops and ask – how are you doing that?

About the workshop

It’s going to be a game with two halves, one on interaction and engagement and one on production quality.
Our first session on interaction will look at ways to get audiences active and involved in digital workshops.

We’ll cover:

• Micro-interactions
• Tools within common meeting software, and when it’s best to use them
  • chats, reactions, whiteboards, screen sharing, annotation and polls
  • camera’s on/off/multi-camera options and demos
• Picking tools to match audience size, type and nature
• Fun ideas in a post lockdown world

By the end of our first half you should be buzzing with tips, tricks and techniques to make your live training more engaging for both the audience – and the trainer.

After a quick coffee break, in our second session we’ll look at levelling up production quality without breaking the bank. We’ll concentrate on the best DIY, no-and-low cost options as well as your recommendations on your first prosumer options.

We’ll cover:

• sound
• lights
• camera
• content
• meeting software (Zoom, Teams, GoogleChat, webinars and streaming)
• production software (OBS, Ecamm, Streamlabs)

Who should attend?

This workshop will be ideal for anyone just dipping their toe into the world of online training, or anyone who is already running training but wants to find out how to do more than just firing up their PowerPoint and hitting share screen.

You’re welcome to join the session, whatever type of training you want to deliver online – we’ll tailor the session to those attending live, so please give a good description of your training in the sign up form.
