About the Programme

This fully funded programme is offered by the York and North Yorkshire Growth Hub through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It’s an exclusive opportunity for hospitality businesses in the North Yorkshire Council area, with sessions held both online and face-to-face in Scarborough..

What’s Included?

  • 6 Group Sessions: Half-day sessions held monthly from October 2024 to March 2025. The session dates will be Tuesday 8th October, Tuesday 5th November, Tuesday 10th December, Tuesday 7th January, Tuesday 11th February, Tuesday 11th March from 9:30 – 12:20
  • 3 Hours of 1:1 Coaching: Personalised sessions to dive deep into your specific challenges, available at a time to suit you.
  • Online Community: Access to a network of peers for continuous support and collaboration.

  • Check-In: Start with a group check-in to gauge how you and your business are doing.

About the Provider

Julia Felton and her company Business HorsePower have been delivering peer 2 peer sessions for several years to business owners in a variety of sectors. These interactive experiential, action learning sessions always provide great value for all participants regardless of whether you are in the “hot seat” or not.

As a former hotelier and hospitality consultant Julia is particularly passionate about leading hospitality peer-to-board groups as she knows first-hand how these sessions can transform your business. You can expect straight-talking, direct and pragmatic support from Julia and her team, and we can guarantee you will walk away with a new perspective on any challenge you might be experiencing.

This business support programme is a collaboration between the York and North Yorkshire Growth Hub, North Yorkshire Council, and Business HorsePower.

This is funded by North Yorkshire Council through the Shared Prosperity Fund. Therefore, only businesses located in North Yorkshire Council’s area are eligible to attend.
