Charity Leadership Group: Third Sector Peer Support in Harrogate

10 Sep 2024

The third sector faces numerous challenges, from keeping the lights on to broader societal and economic issues. To address this, we are launching a Harrogate peer support programme for third sector organisations based in North Yorkshire.

Update: We are still taking registrations for the last few remaining places when the group meets again from September.

Who is peer support for?

These peer support sessions will be held around Harrogate, but are open to all such organisations located in North Yorkshire.

Why attend peer support in Harrogate?

  • The third sector landscape is constantly evolving, presenting new challenges and opportunities for charity leaders. Agility is key to responding effectively. By attending these peer groups, you will have the chance to learn, share, and discuss your challenges and successes. Furthermore, you can fill yourself and your peers with new ideas and strategies.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders is crucial for long-term success. This includes the people you support, donors, volunteers, and the wider community. However, effective engagement needs time, effort, and strategic thinking. These focused workshops will help you build beyond your usual networks.

Where and when?

The sessions will be held in venues in the Harrogate area.

The first session was held on Tuesday 16 July, and we are happy to take registrations to fill the last few remaining places for future meetings. The next session will be held in Starbeck on Tuesday 10 September, at the premises of Time Together (Unit 10 Provincial Works, Laundry Road, Starbeck HG1 4QE)

The remaining sessions will be scheduled at times and venues to suit the group.
