Build a Website Workshop – Leyburn

If you would like to build your own website, then our ‘Build a Website’ workshop could be the ideal place to start.
You will be guided through all the stages of creating a Squarespace website for your business/ organisation within three days. This course will cover setting up the website, designing the template, structuring content, and any additional functionality required, such as a blog, a newsletter sign up or an eCommerce shop. By the end of the workshop, the goal is to launch the website on your domain.
These workshops are suitable for any small business looking to build their own website.
What do I need to bring?
- A Debit or Credit card to pay for your Squarespace subscription starting at £12 per month
- A Debit or Credit card to pay for your domain if you don’t already have one. If you do have a domain you will need to bring your log in details.
- Your Logo
- Any images you have to use on the website
- Social Media passwords
- Mailchimp Log in details if you have an account and would like a Newsletter Sign Up
Where and when?
These workshops will be held at Leyburn Town Hall (Thornborough Hall, Moor Rd, Leyburn DL8 5AB), and consist of three full-day sessions on Tuesday 3rd October, Tuesday 10th October, and Tuesday 17th October.

This is funded by North Yorkshire Council through the Shared Prosperity Fund. Therefore, only businesses located in North Yorkshire Council’s area are eligible to attend.
