If you would like to build your own website, then our ‘Build a Website’ workshop could be the ideal place to start.

You will be guided through all the stages of creating a Squarespace website for your business/ organisation within three days. This course will cover setting up the website, designing the template, structuring content, and any additional functionality required, such as a blog, a newsletter sign up or an eCommerce shop. By the end of the workshop, the goal is to launch the website on your domain.

Through the course of the workshops, you will learn all the skills you need to continue maintaining your website yourself going forward.

These workshops are suitable for any small business looking to build their own website.

What do I need to bring?

A Debit or Credit card to pay for your Squarespace subscription starting at £12 per month
A Debit or Credit card to pay for your domain if you don’t already have one. If you do have a domain you will need to bring your log in details.
Your Logo
Any images you have to use on the website
Social Media passwords
Mailchimp Log in details if you have an account and would like a Newsletter Sign Up

Where and when?

This programme consists of three full-day workshops on November 14th, 21st and 28th. Time: 9.30am till 4.30pm

These will all be held at Evolution Business Centre (6, County Business Park, Northallerton DL6 2NQ)

This business support programme is a collaboration between the York and North Yorkshire Growth Hub, North Yorkshire Council, and Purple Creative.

This is funded by North Yorkshire Council through the Shared Prosperity Fund. Therefore, only businesses located in North Yorkshire Council’s area are eligible to attend.
