Recruitment and Retention Reimagined

About this event

Is your business struggling to recruit and retain the talent you need? Come along to this free event, organised by City of York Council‘s Economic Growth Team, to connect with other local businesses and hear from top recruitment and retention specialists about how innovative and inclusive approaches to employment can boost your business’ chances of success.

Our keynote speaker will be former rugby international Tony Underwood, who swapped the rugby field for the runway when he became an airline pilot for Emirates. Now a consultant supporting business leaders to nurture high-performing teams, Tony will share his lessons on leadership and teamwork from his varied career.

We’ll be hearing from a wide range of organisations, including HM Prison Service, the Reserve Forces and Cadets Association, the Good Business Charter, the Department for Work and Pensions, Spectrum First and the Grand Hotel York for diverse perspectives on recruitment and retention.

Refreshments and lunch are provided, along with plenty of time to network with local businesses.

Date and time: Thursday 5 October, 9am-2:30pm

Location: Priory Street Centre, 15 Priory Street, York YO1 6ET
