Digital Marketing Mastery Series – Patch, York
For anybody who is new to search engine optimisation (SEO). Ideal for those looking to develop a website or improve on their existing site, this beginners’ course will give a broad overview of the three areas of SEO: onsite, offsite and technical.
It will introduce the fundamentals of auditing a website, as well as the best free tools to use for measuring performance and improving the user experience.
Delivered via presentations, group exercises and discussions, this introduction will lay the foundations for sessions 2 and 3.
For those who have attended Phase 1 of the Digital Marketing Mastery series or those who have intermediate search engine optimisation (SEO) knowledge. It will build upon the fundamentals of SEO, in particular, focusing on offsite SEO to enhance your online reputation.
Topics covered will include local SEO, social media for reputation-building, and activities to demonstrate thought leadership including press releases, award submissions and membership organisations. It will also cover how to measure brand awareness and explore Google search in more detail.
Delivered via presentations, group exercises and discussions, this will lay the foundations for session 3. It is not mandatory to attend session 1, though it may be helpful for beginners.
For those who have attended Phase 1, 2 or both phases of the Digital Marketing Mastery series. Alternatively, those who have not attended but have intermediate search engine optimisation knowledge, and would now like to invest in content, will benefit most.
The course will outline the fundamentals of creating a content strategy, starting with an analysis of where our business is at (SOSTAC) and how we can achieve our goals using content. It will also cover marketing fundamentals such as funnel-led strategies and customer profiles, together with tools to generate content ideas. Finally, it will examine how to assign roles and measure the impacts of our marketing.
Delivered via presentations, group exercises and discussions, this would be ideal for those looking to enhance an already established online presence. It is not mandatory to attend session 1 and 2, but the class will build upon skills learnt within these.
