17 Oct 2024

Are you looking to improve your Malton business’s recruitment and retention? This peer-to-peer programme will let you learn best practice from industry expert KD recruitment, benefit from practical exercises, and learn from the experience of other businesses.

First session: Thursday 17th October

About the programme

This programme is designed to help businesses to:

  • receive expert advice in recruitment and retention
  • support each other by sharing experience and best practice
  • benefit from training and practical exercises

  • What a good recruitment process looks like
  • The basics of an effective interview process
  • Employee value proposition – including pay and non-financial benefits
  • Practical exercises, including writing a job advert during the session
  • Retention strategies
  • Sharing best practice and insights with other attendees
  • Inclusive recruitment – including how to approach equality, diversity, and protected characteristics
  • Employer branding and how to market your business to the local area
  • Employee wellbeing, training, and development

At the end of the fifth session, attendees will leave with an action plan to go away and implement. A final sixth session will be scheduled 2-3 months later to review and see the impact.
